Integrated teaching practices that nurture the highest standards of intellect, character and physical development
Community service is very important at School of the Nations. Teachers and students are encouraged to get involved with supporting the needs of Macau and the region. Form 5 students take an international service trip every year as part of their Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) requirements for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Teachers at all levels find ways to incorporate service learning into the curriculum with typical activities being blood drives, fundraisers for local charities, tutoring and mentoring younger children, and volunteering at charity events in Macau. Every year, new and exciting community service ideas are implemented to enhance the learning experience of students.
